My journey began 7 months ago when I first started to discover how to lose fat. I am 6’2″ and weighed 330 pounds just 5 months ago. I had become obese, and for a former athlete, this was unacceptable. I had fallen in to the American way of life, eat, sleep, get fat routine. I have a very active job, where I walk several miles a day, but it really doesn’t matter when you eat 5-8,000 unhealthy calories a day! This is the first step in your goal to lose fat: calorie management. I started counting calories, and viewing food as fuel rather than a pleasurable commodity. We all need food for sustenance, but when we go overboard and gorge ourselves, this is why our bodies store fat. Too many bad calories and not enough exercise. If you have landed on our website, that means that you’re prepared to put in the time and effort to lose fat, but what most people don’t understand is that it’s not that hard to lose fat! By no means is there an easy button, but with a little perseverance and self control, you will be able to start losing fat immediately. You’ll start sleeping better, having better focus at work or at school, and when your fat loss starts to become noticeable, you’ll feel better about yourself.
How to Lose Fat with a Well Rounded Diet
When I say “diet,” I don’t mean starving yourself. When we are first learning how to lose fat, we have to have a balanced diet. A balanced diet consists of a well rounded repertoire of fuel for your body. That means that you’ll be getting plenty of protein, carbohydrates, fruits and vegetables. When we think of a diet to lose fat, we automatically think that we can’t have the foods that we crave. This is not that case here, because if you do not allow yourself to have the foods and drinks that you want, you will not stay the course, and you will not lose fat. On the contrary, you’ll be having delicious food, sweets and even beer and other things you crave, but the key to this is MODERATION. I did not get to 330 pounds from moderation, I got there because I over ate, and over indulged, plain and simple.
